Caitlin R. Prunty
Caitlin was born and raised in Carson City and moved to Washington in 2001. After receiving her B.A. from Eastern Washington University in Business Administration in 2006, she earned her Paralegal certificate from the University of Washington – Tacoma. Caitlin worked as the sole paralegal for a construction litigation firm in Seattle for four years. After her interest in the practice of law was confirmed, she returned to eastern Washington to attend Gonzaga University School of Law.
Caitlin received her J.D. in 2013 and worked as an associate attorney in a small construction law firm in Spokane before taking time off from the practice of law to start a family. During that time, Caitlin served as the Director of Operations for a financial planning firm, which sparked her interest in estate planning and ultimately led her to open a solo-practice estate planning firm.
Caitlin approaches her work from a place of service and compassion. Throughout law school, she was heavily involved in public service activities including the Moderate Means Program, Gonzaga’s Public Interest Law Project, and Gonzaga Law’s Environmental Law Clinic. With a desire to return to public service, Caitlin ceased private practice and now serves as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Spokane Valley. Her work focuses on civil enforcement / prosecution and land use. However, she enjoys supplementing her work by assisting Prunty Law in estate planning matters – the best of both worlds.
Caitlin’s passions include spending time horseback in the Jarbidge Wilderness with her dad, running, reading, and adventures with her family. She resides in Spokane with her partner David and their three children.
